Workshop on Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Learning Technologies

The School of Engineering & Technology at Apeejay Stya University organized a two-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Learning Technologies on 27th and 28th March 2026. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Amit Raheja, Senior AVP at EXL Services, with the aim of providing students and faculty practical exposure to modern AI tools and concepts.

The workshop began with an introduction to AI fundamentals and its real-world applications, followed by sessions on deep learning, where participants explored neural networks and model training. It also covered Natural Language Processing (NLP), offering insights into language-based AI applications.

A key highlight was the session on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), focusing on emerging technologies transforming industries. Participants also learned about ethical aspects in the session on Responsible AI, emphasizing bias reduction and responsible usage.

Further, the workshop introduced Agentic AI, highlighting autonomous decision-making systems, and covered AI Systems along with MLOps/LLMOps, focusing on deployment and lifecycle management of AI models.

The workshop concluded with interactive discussions and assignments, ensuring better understanding. Overall, it successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in Artificial Intelligence.
