ICABET-2024

The Interdisciplinary International Conference on Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence, Behavioural Sciences, and Engineering & Technology (ICABET 2024) hosted by Apeejay Stya University on 29^th & 30^th April 2024. The conference was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Registrar, ASU, Prof. Vimala Veeraraghwan, Emeritus Professor, SOBS, Prof. Moin Uddin, Distinguished Professor, SOET, Prof. A.K. Goel, Dean, SOET and Prof. Neeraj Sinha, Dean, CBMR, SGPGIMS campus, Lucknow.  Spanning two impactful days, the conference featured a robust series of technical sessions, workshops, and keynotes of experts and enthusiasts from diverse fields.

The conference kicked off with an inaugural event in the main conference hall, welcoming guests with traditional lamp lighting and tributes, followed by a keynote address by Prof.(Dr.) L. Sam S. Manickam, Deptt of Psychology, Mysore University. Across the sessions, discussions delved into the intersections of AI with psychology, healthcare, mental health, law, cyber security, and education.

Technical sessions were systematically organized into specific themes. The first day began with discussions on AI’s role in psychology, exploring themes like locus of control among youth and the psychological underpinnings in AI development. The latter part of the day included parallel sessions on AI in healthcare and AI & mental health, highlighting the latest in AI-driven healthcare innovations and ethical considerations in mental health applications.

The second day continued with technical discussions focusing on the legal ramifications of AI, including cyber security and the role of AI in criminal justice. Another focal point was the application of AI in educational settings, where integration of AI in pedagogy and its impact on learning environments were examined.

The conference concluded with a valedictory session where Prof.(Dr.) Moin Uddin provided an overview of the proceedings, which was followed by award distribution.

Overall, ICABET 2024 facilitated a rich exchange of ideas and innovations, enhancing understanding and collaboration between artificial intelligence and various scientific disciplines, setting a benchmark for future interdisciplinary conferences.
