Independance Day Celebration

On 15th August 2024, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event commenced with an insightful overview of Independence Day by Kajal Shukla, student of SJMC highlighting the significance of the occasion.

At 9:30 am, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Vijay Vir Singh, hoisted the national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, evoking a sense of pride and unity among all attendees.

Prof. Vijay Vir Singh then delivered a thought-provoking address, reflecting on the nation’s journey since independence and the role of education in shaping the future of India. His speech, resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring the students to contribute to the nation’s progress.

The celebration continued with a vibrant cultural program, showcasing the diverse talents of the students. The performances, filled with patriotic zeal, included songs, dances, and poetry that paid homage to the country’s rich heritage.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Registrar, Prof. Chetan Choudhary, followed by the distribution of sweets and refreshments, marking the end of a memorable and well-organized celebration.
