Rajeshwari Kala Utsav – A Tribute to Art and Legacy

On the occasion of the 101st Birth Anniversary of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji, Apeejay Stya University celebrated the Rajeshwari Kala Utsav on 8^th July 2025 with heartfelt reverence and artistic fervor. The event paid tribute to the timeless legacy of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji—beloved wife of our Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul ji and mother of our Hon’ble Chancellor Madam—who was known for her compassion, strength, and deep admiration for art and culture. The celebration commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting with floral tribute, followed by the reading of a special message from the Hon’ble Chancellor by Vice Chancellor Prof. Vijay Vir Singh. The Utsav featured soulful performances including a melodious rendition of “O Rangrez” by Hiya Bhattacharya, a graceful dance to “Saiyyan” by Aastha Pandey, and a devotional song “Radhe Krishan Ki Jyot Alokik” by Manya Mishra. These vibrant expressions beautifully honored Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji’s love for the performing arts. The University community came together in gratitude and celebration, making the event a memorable homage to a truly inspiring soul.
