Orientation Program

Apeejay Stya University hosted a five-day orientation program from August 5th to 9th, 2024, for its newly admitted students. The program aimed to familiarize students with the university’s academic standards, regulations, and campus culture while fostering a sense of community. The event commenced with a warm traditional welcome, followed by informative sessions on the academic programs, university rules, and professional etiquette. The second day featured ceremonial lamp lighting, tributes to the university’s founder, and motivational speeches from key figures, including the Hon’ble Pro Chancellor, Dr. Neha Berlia. Guest speakers like Mr. Sagar Mahat emphasized the importance of communication skills, discipline, and entrepreneurship. The day concluded with cultural activities and games, enhancing camaraderie among students.

The following days included lectures by esteemed professionals, interactive sessions on legal frameworks, team-building activities, and in-depth discussions on ASU’s academic system and liberal arts education. Students were introduced to the university’s online resources, participated in a Zumba and Bhangra session led by Ms. Shalini Arora, and engaged with alumni. The program also addressed serious issues like ragging, with students taking a pledge for a drug-free life. The orientation concluded with sports and games, leaving students well-prepared, connected, and excited for their academic journey ahead.
