International Conference on Workplace Behaviour: Psychological & Socio-Cultural Perspectives

Apeejay Stya University successfully organized a two-day International Conference on “Workplace Behaviour: Psychological & Socio-Cultural Perspectives” on 28–29 April 2026 in online mode, as a collaborative initiative of the School of Behavioural Sciences and the School of Management Sciences. Conducted under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Vimala Veeraraghavan, Dean Academics & Emeritus Professor, School of Behavioural Sciences, and Dr. Amit Kumar Sinha (HoD, School of Management Sciences), and coordinated by Dr. Manju Rani, the conference brought together scholars, researchers, industry experts, and students for interdisciplinary dialogue on emerging workplace challenges. The inaugural session featured addresses by University leadership, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Vir Singh, with the Pro Chancellor, Dr. Neha Berlia’s message formally read by Dr. Sonam Raheja, followed by the vote of thanks delivered by the Registrar, Dr. Pardeep Kumar. The conference included keynote and expert sessions by eminent speakers such as Prof. Shanmukh Kamble and Dr. Pawan Bakhshi, along with engaging panel discussions on themes like workplace stress, artificial intelligence, leadership, and psychometrics. The successful execution of the conference was further supported by the dedicated efforts of the organizing team members, including Mr. Sham Bali, Dr. Smriti Khanna, Dr. Shraddha Agarwal, Ms. Jyoti, Dr. Sonam Raheja, and Dr. Shatakshi Srivastava. Day 2 focused on research dissemination through invited lectures and parallel technical sessions, showcasing over 150 research paper presentations and 70 posters across domains including mental health, emotional intelligence, and organizational behavior. Concluding with a valedictory session, the conference also recognized academic excellence by awarding Best Paper Presentations in both Oral and Poster categories, the conference significantly strengthened academic discourse, fostered industry-academia collaboration, and reinforced the University’s commitment to research excellence and global engagement.
