Dean's Message

Dr. Anupama Diwan
Professor & Dean

Dear budding Pharmacists,

The phrase Pharmacy originated from the root word Pharma that is the knowledge and procedure of manufacturing as well as administration of drugs. The Pharmacy profession requires a complex and well-developed set of competencies for financially rewarding careers with opportunities for patient care, scientific research and innovation. By completing a Pharmacy course, there are many career options like manufacturing, research & development, quality assurance, community pharmacy, research organisation, drug regulatory, medical documentation, pharmacovigilance and healthcare, to name a few.

We provide hands-on experience for students, opportunities to students to get involved in research at all levels and also organise various conferences, workshops, seminars & industrial trips. We have well-equipped infrastructure and highly trained faculty members to provide expertise to train the young minds. We are backed by the Group’s own pharmaceutical companies like Martin & Harris Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, Walter Bushnell and ASG Biochem Private Limited. To inculcate community service, our students get involved with various community services like health check-up camps, educating adults, educating all for healthy living, etc. in nearby villages of the university.

We, at Apeejay Stya University, provide proper guidance and ability to budding Pharmacists of the nation to enable them to transform society as a whole.

My warmest wishes to all.

Knowing how to study is more important than knowing what to study and that is what Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has taught me. The well structured notes, one-to-one doubt solving sessions, guest lectures and most importantly, the positivity & zeal that the faculty instills encourages one to perform consistently well. I highly recommended ASU to all Pharmacy aspirants
