MBA with Dual Specialization

MBA with dual specialization, at School of Management Sciences, is a two-year full-time degree program intended to prepare students for national and global careers in diverse sectors. The curriculum is designed to aim at preparing its graduates to achieve holistic development through interactive learning, project-based internship and experiential learning with simulation games.

(Subject to minimum cohort of 5 students opting for one specialization).

Eligibility and Duration

Minimum 50 percent or equal marks in Graduation
More than 50 percentile in competitive exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.
60 percent in ASU-CAT [university’s common admission test]
Selection of the candidate is subject to Group Discussion and Panel interview

Duration: MBA-Dual Specialization is 2 years

Course Outline

To earn MBA degree with specialization in any domain, a student must earn a minimum of 60 Credits, across the following segments:

Core Category (Degree Courses): 32 Credits
Open Electives (Two specializations): 16 Credits
L.A Courses: 6 credits
Internship: 2 credits
Major Research Project: 4 credits
Community Service: 1 credit
Degree requirement: 61 Credits

Pre-requisites: A course or other requirement that a student must have taken prior to enrolling in a specific course.

Community Service

Currently, 1 credit comprising 40 hours of work related to community service is mandatory on the part of the students to complete prior to graduating from the University. This is to sensitize the students to the community at large and inculcate good citizenship qualities.
