Prof. D.K. Majumdar

Prof. D. K. Majumdar is a retired professor, he is presently working as an Emeritus Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Apeejay Stya University. He has over 45 years of experience in research and teaching. He has served at senior positions in leading pharma companies like Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He has published more than 100 papers in refereed international journals with 6272 citations and h-index of 43. He has been awarded 4 patents in India, US, Great Britain and Germany. His primary areas of research include Novel Drug Delivery, Ophthalmic Drug Delivery, Synthesis of polymer, and Pharmacokinetics. He has served as an expert member in nanotechnology, DST Government of India and Ranbaxy/Sun Pharma young scientist research award (Ranbaxy/Sun Pharma Research Foundation).
