Ms. Shilpa Chaudhary is an academician, researcher, and pharmacovigilance professional with over 10 years of experience in industry (pharmaceutical R &D), clinical research and drug safety monitoring. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi.
She is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Apeejay Stya University, where she teaches Pharmaceutical Sciences and Regulatory Affairs, to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is actively involved in academic mentoring, research guidance, and curriculum delivery.
She also serves as a Pharmacovigilance Associate at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission. Her work includes adverse drug reaction (ADR) monitoring, causality assessment, conducting training programs for healthcare professionals, and promoting awareness on drug safety.
She has led and contributed to several clinical research projects, including CTRI-registered studies and vaccine safety surveillance, and has published research articles in reputed journals. A GPAT-qualified professional, she has received the Award of Excellence for her contributions to pharmacovigilance activities. She is also a Member of the District AEFI Committee, Faridabad (2024) and a Member of the Pharmacovigilance Committee, ESIC Medical College & Hospital (2019–2025). Her areas of expertise include Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, and Pharmaceutical Analysis.
