Dr. Nisha Wadhawan is an accomplished academician and researcher serving as Assistant Professor (CSE) and Academic Coordinator in School of Engineering and Technology (SoET), with more than 15 years of teaching and academic experience. She holds MCA, M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering qualifications, reflecting a strong academic foundation and research orientation.
Her areas of specialization include Ad Hoc Networks, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Her current research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health, intelligent systems etc. She has made noteworthy contributions to the research community through publications in reputed international journals and conference proceedings indexed in Scopus and published by leading academic publishers such as IEEE, Springer Nature, and Taylor & Francis.
Apart from her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Wadhawan actively contributes to academic administration and institutional development through academic coordination, curriculum design, student mentoring, outcome-based education practices, and the adoption of innovative teaching–learning methodologies. Her commitment to academic excellence, research advancement, and student-centric learning continues to strengthen the overall quality of higher education and research initiatives.
