Dr. Sonam Raheja holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from GJUS&T, Hisar, and is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Physics in the School of Engineering & Technology. With over 17 years of teaching experience, she has established herself as a dedicated academician and researcher.
She is a recipient of the prestigious SRF Fellowship from CSIR, India, reflecting her strong research credentials. Dr. Raheja has made significant contributions to the field of materials science, with 15 research publications in reputed international journals and 17 papers presented at national/International conferences and symposia.
She has also served as the Principal Investigator for a research project funded by DRDO, demonstrating her capability in leading funded research initiatives.
In addition to her academic and research contributions, Dr. Raheja plays an active role in university administration and student engagement. She serves as the Chief Coordinator for Cultural Activities, leading the planning and execution of various institutional and inter-university events. She also holds the position of Deputy Dean (Alumni Affairs). Furthermore, she is the Coordinator of the Applied Sciences Department and is actively involved in academic planning, curriculum development, student mentoring, and participation in various institutional committees and administrative processes.
