Dr. M. Pavan Kumar is an artist, researcher, and academic specializing in Visual Arts, Art History, and Visual Culture. He currently serves as a faculty member in Fine Arts, where he is actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum development, and doctoral supervision. His research focuses on contemporary Indian art, popular visual culture, painted traditions, community-engaged art practices, and visual communication. As a practicing artist, his work explores themes of urban experience, identity, perception, memory, and the relationship between space and society. He has published in national and international journals, presented research at academic forums, and continues to contribute to the advancement of art education through interdisciplinary research, creative practice, and mentorship of emerging artists and scholars.
