Dr. Anupama Diwan has research and teaching experience of over 30 years. She has supervised over 50 students and 15 PhD scholars for their research dissertations. Her primary area of research includes Novel Drug Delivery Systems, pharmacokinetics, nanotechnology, industrial pharmacy, quality assurance, bioavailability enhancement and modified transdermal formulations. She has authored 20 books and published over 100 research papers in various national and international journals and over 25 Indian and International Patents of Pharmaceutical use.

Dr. Diwan has presented scientific deliberations in over 30 seminars and conferences at national and international levels. She is the Professor of M.L. Schroff Chair established for Research and Innovation at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Apeejay Stya University. She has contributed towards Innovation and Entrepreneur cell at university. She has been awarded a “Best Technical Expert” in 2016, “SPER-WF Innovative Researcher Award” in 2015. Recently she has been awarded “Bharat Excellence Award” by Former Governor of Sikkim in 2019, “International women of the year Award” for her outstanding achievements & distinguished services to the Nation by Friendship Forum New Delhi in 2019 and “International Women of Courage” by All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties & Social Justice in 2019. Recently she has been awarded with award “Iconic Leaders creating a better world for All” at Women Economic Forum by President WEF in Dec 2022. She is also the President, Haryana State Environment and Sustainability, WICCI. She has been invited as guest lecturer in many national and international forum. She has additional responsibilities of Dean Research at University besides member of various academic and administrative committee of university. She has organised over 100 seminars, conferences and conventions from time to time. She is life member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Indian Pharmacist Graduate Association, Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India and Indian Hospital Pharmacist Association and member Academic Council and Board of Studies.
