Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) is a vital initiative designed to strengthen the concept of ‘Markto-Market’ of Apeejay Stya University. CRC provides a platform to ASU students to engage with the industry.
At ASU, Industry Advisor/Mentor is engaged from the beginning of the curriculum development. This association further develops through organising Industry training, workshops, joint research, joint project assignments, guest lectures, internships and finally moulding into final placements.
The mission of the CRC involves promoting academic entrepreneurship, supporting research related to new innovations & emerging technologies and coordinating strategic investments of the University. CRC supports innovative projects in collaboration with the business community, the public and private sectors and other institutions. It also has an ‘E-Cell’ in association with National Entrepreneurship Network to nurture entrepreneurship and is developing an ‘Incubation Cell’ in association with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry & various industry organisations. Its involvement with notable organisations like CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, PHDCCI, NEN, AIMA, NHRD, MEDICI Institute, World Brand Congress and COM Asia encourages multiple associations with industries across the globe. The legacy of Apeejay attributes students’ placements in reputed national and international brands like SIEMENS, HCL, TATA, Infosys, HSBC, ICICI Bank, HDFC, AXIS, ESPN, NDTV, Lintas, Marks & Spencer, CNN IBN, Northern Stella, Interglobe, Religare & many more. Furthermore, the alumni from Apeejay Stya institutions are placed in leading Indian business houses and MNCs at varied senior levels.
The industry holds the intellectual wealth drawn from Apeejay institutions in high esteem which makes our students a preferred choice.
Industry Mentorship
ASU has initiated a special programme called ‘Industry Mentorship’ for its students. This programme engages prominent industry leaders as industry mentors for the students. Each school also has notable industry CEOs as part of their Advisory boards.
Corporate Resource Centre has initiated a drive to bridge the gap between Industry and Academia through an in-depth and extensive Training and Competency Building (TCB) Module that spans across the student’s entire on-campus study years, i.e., seven semesters for undergraduate programmes and three semesters for postgraduate programmes. The TCB Module aims at equipping & grooming students to meet the demands & challenges of the corporate world, and to identify the right kind of companies that match a student’s skills and competencies.
