Gurgaon, November 7, 2012: Apeejay Stya University (ASU) organised a two day national workshop on “Modern Analytical Techniques and Formulation Development guidelines for nanotechnological products” at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Sector-32, Gurgaon, Haryana.
The workshop was specially designed for the undergraduate students and was graced by eminent distinguished scientists, academicians and entrepreneurs from the pharmaceutical field. It was organised to give valuable information on various nanotechnological products and also practical hands-on training on various analytical equipments. The highlights of the workshop were the recent advances in area of nanotechnology and a brief knowledge was also given on new equipments used in area of novel drug delivery system. Students benefited by doing practical work on analytical equipments like UV, FTIR, HPLC and LC-MS. The workshop was mainly organised to create awareness in research in the field of nanotechnology, where the students got to know about their future growth by doing work on sophisticated instruments.
