Gurugram, April 14-15, 2023: Apeejay Stya University, Sohna, Gurugram recently organised its Annual Cultural Fest - 'Elaan 2023'. It is an inter-university festival which aims to provide a creative space to the students to showcase their talent and creativity that will further contribute in their holistic development.
Dr BS Sekhon, joint secretary (YA & Sports), Association of Indian Universities (AIU) of New Delhi, was the chief guest. He officially inaugurated the event and praised ASU for putting together a magnificent programme. Dr Sekhon also announced a national-level AIU event to be organised at ASU.
Dr Sucharita, Pro-Vice Chancellor, ASU, declared the event open with a welcome speech. A film on Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, ASU’s Chancellor and Chairperson, Apeejay Education was also screened on the occasion.
The highlight of this year's festival was the live performance by the talented pop singer, Anadi Mishra, on April 15, 2023. The inter-university festival was a cultural extravaganza with an array of fun-filled activities. A magnificent range of competitions and performances such as music, dance, theater, nukkad natak, elocution, fashion show and many more are to be held. More than 300 participants competed and won exciting prizes in the events.
