Gurgaon, March 2015Students and faculty from the Edith Cowen University, Australia (Media & Broadcasting wing) visited ASU for a week-long student exchange programme. During this stay, they interacted with faculty members and also visited various Delhi historical sites for a truly enriching experience. They shot a video focusing on the life at Delhi, among other things. They also participated in the programmes broadcasted at Apeejay Stya University’s internet radio, Styavani.

New Delhi, February 21, 2015: The Apeejay Education Society and Apeejay Stya University, in collaboration with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), organised a Job Fair at the Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai in February 2015. Students from different institutions of the Apeejay Group like Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka; Apeejay Institute of Technology, Greater Noida and Apeejay Stya University, Delhi-NCR participated in the Job Fair.

T.I.E, being a group of successful entrepreneurs, invited various start-up firms from diverse sectors like Telecom, I.T., and Consulting. The event commenced with the registration of the students and the guest companies. The guest companies conducted presentations/elevator pitches to brief the participants about their firms, while the students enjoyed the privilege of selecting the companies of their interest. A session of interviews for jobs and internships followed soon after.

The Job Fair was a great opportunity for the students to showcase themselves. The guest companies were glad to evaluate the skills and knowledge of these aspirants.

Mumbai, Feb. 2, 2015: Students from the Apeejay Stya University (ASU) attended and participated in the E-Summit, IIT Bombay, held from 1st–2nd February 2015. The ASU team, consisting of 7 members, participated in various panels, workshops and competitions. The various competitions included Marketing Case Study Competition, Biz Quiz, Pitch Please, Idea Blaze and Merger & Acquisition.

In the Idea Blaze Competition, a team of two members from ASU – Rohan Verma and Dheeraj Sachdeva were declared as the winners. Around 150+ students participated in this competition. It was truly a learning and valuable experience for all.

Sohna, January 15, 2015: Dr. Ananda Padhan, Associate Professor at School of Education, Apeejay Stya University conducted a training session on ‘Teaching Profession and Teacher Professionalism’ as part of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) at the Sant Nirankari College, Sohna. The programme was well-attended by the teachers and academic personnel of the college.

China, January 2015: Apeejay students visited the National University of Singapore Research Institute, Suzhou, China as part of their educational trip to the country.
