Library is situated in the midst of University and is the hub of all the academic activities. It collectively supports the learning, teaching, research and extension programmes of the University. All students, faculty members and staff of the university are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking its membership. Library has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, CDs/ DVDs, e-journals, PhD thesis, project reports, etc. The Library with its vast collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services plays an essential role for the academic community in their intellectual pursuits.
Apeejay Stya University (ASU) Library has a collection of over 50,000 books related to different fields like Engineering, Management, Biosciences, Pharmaceuticals, Mass Communication, Design, Education, Legal Studies & allied subjects and more than 100 print journals and magazines are subscribed in the ASU library on a regular-basis.
Library is fully automated and the entire Library collection is made available through the University’s network. Library catalogue has been computerized through Libsys Library Management software. The Library catalogue can also be searched using a common web browser from any terminal located in the campus. Users can access the online databases and also find out the real-time availability of Library materials from computer systems /smart phones through Web OPAC.
It is an online library catalogue, accessible within campus which contains records of all the books, periodicals, theses, project reports, databases and other reading materials available in Library. All the subscribed and open access resources (internal and external) are linked with this page.

National Digital Library (E-Books collection)
NDL is a collection of e-books, providing one-stop access to e-books which are easily searchable and downloadable. It is a truly multi-disciplinary resource featuring a diversified mix of e-books from business and the sciences, technology, engineering to literature and politics. It ensures access of e-books on one single platform – from different resources having unlimited and multi-user access – 24/7, easily searchable and downloadable e-books.
All the students, faculty and staff of the University are the registered members of the NDL. Access of e-books collection is made available to all the students of the University and with the help of login credentials they can use this facility from anywhere.
DELNET (Developing Library Network)
DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store, and disseminate information besides offering computerized services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible. With the help of DELNET, the students and faculty members of the University can obtain books from other member libraries on a loan basis.

Complete content includes important full‐text journals and much sought‐after titles from the business press as well as key trade publications, dissertations, conference proceedings, and market reports. ABI/INFORM Complete includes all content found in ABI/INFORM Global, ABI/INFORM Dateline, and ABI/INFORM Trade and Industry. It also includes ABI/INFORM Archive which offers a deep back file of many of the most important business journals of the last century.

ProQuest E-book Central – E-books Database
E-book Central provides authoritative e-books in a range of subjects from the world's top publishers. Students can quickly and easily find relevant e-books and chapters; read online; search within the e-book; and highlight, take notes and bookmark pages. User can also share research with others, download e-books and chapters to the laptop or mobile device. E-books are downloaded from e-books collection and attached with library database.
World eBook Library
World eBook Library (WEL) has been provided to our University by the National Digital Library of India. World e-Book Library is the world’s largest collection of Primary Source E-Books consisting of 40 lac E-books and millions of journal articles with unlimited access and downloading.
Library services like OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), CAS (Current Awareness Service), Reference and Information Service, Circulation, Display New Arrival, Inter-Library Loan Service, Digitize Question Papers, E-mail Alerts and Library News Bulletins are provided.
Web OPAC is developed as a Library portal wherein all the subscribed and open access resoures (internal and external) are linked with this page, students, faculty and staff can access all the resources directly within the ASU campus. The Library ID cards are provided in electronic format and at the time of issue/return, the students can show the Library card on their smart phones. The main benefit of the Electronic Library Card is saving of papers and misuse of ID card. Research Articles Database is created according to the research topics received from faculty and these research articles full-text are uploaded on web OPAC page.
Indexing/Abstracting service – The content page/Index of new journals is provided to all the faculty members to select the article from the index which is relevant to the research area and accordingly, the required document is scanned or downloaded and finally uploaded on web OPAC. The information about new arrivals of books, journals/ magazines, etc., overdue reminders, information about new database has been provided online to all the library users. Access of e-books’ collection and previous years question papers and PhD thesis in electronic form are made available to all the students of university they can use this facility from web OPAC.
Request an E-book/Research Article – E-books/Article requested by students/ research scholars/faculty are downloaded and send to students/faculty mail account. These downloaded resources are linked with Library databases and users can access these books online on web OPAC.
