Dr. Shobhna Jeet is a qualified law professional, completed her Ph.D. on the topic – ‘Law Relating to Cyber Terrorism a Comparative Study of Existing Laws at National and International Level’ from Mody University of Science & Technology. Shobhna is also UGC NET qualified. She completed her LLM from the University of Bikaner and LLB from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rajasthan. Dr. Shobhna over the years has presented, published more than 18 research papers in renowned journals and periodicals. She is member of the Editorial Board Online Law Journal Law Mantra. Additionally, she has also presented more than 10 papers on various contemporary legal issues in national and international conferences and seminars. Shobhna has also supervised 6 LLM students in their dissertation while she was working with the Central University of Haryana. Dr. Shobhna has also handled various administration assignments. Showcasing her versatile and multifaceted personality, Dr. Shobhna has directed various acts on multiple occasions and has contributed to various social activities.

Mr. Anuranjan Sharma

Mr. Anuranjan Sharma is LL.M. and NET qualified. His field of specialization is Criminal Law and Corporate Law. Hailing from a reputed lawyer’s family, he carries with himself a rich and varied experience of legal practice at all levels, from the District to the Apex Court. He was enrolled as a member of the Bar Association of Allahabad High Court, prior to his joining teaching services. He was actively involved in cases relating to civil, criminal, banking and service matters, etc. He has also worked for corporate law firms and NGOs.

Mr. Sharma’s teaching interest started with an award from Honorable Justice Raveendran of the Supreme Court of India, for teaching environment law to a class consisting of senior bureaucrats and judges. He has had a stint at the Jagran School of Law, Zee Himgiri University and B.S.A Group of Institutions before joining the School of Legal Studies at Apeejay Stya University.

He is an academic with a keen interest in research. He has to his credit a number of research papers which have been published in national and international journals. His research papers on sedition law, terrorism and powers of police have been widely acknowledged and acclaimed. He has been active in holding and attending national and international seminars. His unique style of teaching involves referring to leading cases before teaching laws pertaining to them and venturing into forays of new legislation.

Ms. Ashu Choudhary

Ms. Ashu Choudhary has obtained B.A.LL.B degree from Mody Institute of Education and Research, Sikar, Rajasthan (2014). She has done LL.M (Constitutional Law) from Amity University, Noida (2016). She has attended many seminars/ conferences. She had also coordinated many moot court competitions during her graduation and post-graduation programme. Ms. Choudhary had successfully qualified the All India Bar Council Examination and enrolled as an Advocate in 2016. She is also an active member of a non-governmental organisation named ‘UMEED (A DROP OF HOPE)’ which works for the welfare of women and children.

Dr. Varuna Tyagi

Dr. Varuna did her Ph.D. in Psychology and has more than 14 years of academic, training and corporate experience. She is highly skilled, talented and accomplished training professional with extensive knowledge of design, development, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of training activities. She has expertise in Psychometric Tools and Profiling, Team Building, Understanding and Developing Self, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, Leadership, Motivation, Transactional Analysis, etc. to help employee development and company growth.

She has conducted several projects on Corporate Social Responsibility in various organisations of repute like L&T, Jindal Steels, Rico Auto, Bharti Airtel, Jubliant Organosys, among others. She has conducted MDPs on Coaching and Performance Management for middle and senior level employees. She has several papers published in reputed journals and has presented papers in various national, international conferences and seminars in the field of Human Resource Development and Organisational Behaviour.

Deepak Halan

Deepak Halan has almost 20 years of experience spanning across academics, and industry (sales, market strategy, consumer and business research, below-the-line activities and online brand consultancy). He has researched and published more than 60 articles/papers on diverse subjects such as market research, retailing, advertising, etc. These papers have been published in various reputed journals & magazines such as Pacific Business Review International, Indian Management, Businessworld etc. Some of the articles have been published as chapters in reference/text books. Deepak is one of the Editors of Apeejay Business Review(a peer-reviewed and refereed bi-annual journal) and is a member of the team involved in conducting a continuous training program for junior and middle level managers of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

She has to her credit many research papers and articles published in national, international referred and peer-reviewed journals. Her area of specialization is HRM and Organizational Behavior. Her interest areas lie in Research Methods, Economics, Accounting and emerging areas of Human Resource Development.

Ms. Ridhi Bhatia

He worked as the Chief Economist and Head of Research at India’s major Apex Industry Association. Dr.Rao had worked with National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) and Indian Statistical Institute-Delhi Centre for a considerable period after completing his Ph.D. from Hyderabad Central University. He has published extensively on issues of national importance.

Dr. Ananda Padhan

Dr. Ananda Padhan is Associate Professor in the School of Education at ApeejayStya University. He is a first batch qualifier of NET in Education conducted by UGC in 1985 and completed his Ph.D from Nagpur University availing fulltime UGC fellowship. He has over 24 years of experience in the field of academics – research, teaching and training, including 6 year of teaching experience abroad in African countries of Ethiopia and Eritrea.

He has previously worked in premier national institutions in India such as NCERT, NUEPA and IGNOU in the area of research and training. He specialises in the area of curriculum and instruction, research methods & educational technology, and has also worked extensively in the area of curriculum development for teacher education in India and abroad. He is a lifetime member of the All India Association of Educational Research & Indian Association of Teacher Educators, and founding life member of the Learning Community & Global Educational Research Association.

He has to his credits 4 books and 27 publications in various journals and periodicals. He has attended 28 national and international conferences/seminars as participant, paper presenter and resource person. He has also been a consultant to the Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) program of the National Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, New Delhi for the Pedagogy course. He received the Shiksha Rattan Award from the India International Friendship Society, New Delhi in 2012 for his distinguished work in the field of teaching and research.

Dr. A. D. Gnanagurunathan

Dr. A. D. Gnanagurunathan is working as an Assistant Professor in Cross-Disciplinary Studies. At Apeejay Stya University, he explores the linkages between Science, Technology and Politics, especially International Relations. He also teaches courses related to modern and contemporary Indian history.

Dr. Gnanagurunathan earned his Doctorate from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He is an alumnus of Madras Christian College (MCC), Chennai.

Dr. Gnanagurunathan’s research areas include politics and technology; India’s foreign and security policies; and foreign and security policies of Japan. His research interests encompass international politics and security; International Relations Theory; the dynamics of international history; questions of nationalism and sub-national aspirations in independent India; issues pertaining to distributive politics and social justice in India, and the history, politics & society of contemporary Tamil Nadu.

Prof. Pervaiz Alam

Prof. Pervaiz Alam is a renowned broadcast journalist with over 30 years of experience. He has worked with both BBC Service (Radio) and BBC World (Television) in London for more than 15 years as a Senior Producer. At BBC World Television, he was the Executive Producer of programmes such as India Business Report, Question Time India, Bollywood Bosses, Hardtalk India/Pakistan and Question Time India/Pakistan.

In India, working with the BBC World Service Trust (BBC Media Action), Prof. Alam directed and produced 'Life Gulmohar Style' - a series of 156 radio plays on gender equality, broadcast by nearly 20 FM Stations. As a guest faculty, Prof. Alam has lectured at the Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College, BBC Training Workshops, Lady Shri Ram College for Women and many other reputed institutes. He started his career with the All India Radio as a Programme Executive in New Delhi and went on to win several Akashvani Awards for his radio documentaries.

Ms. Malvika Kaul

Ms. Malvika Kaul has been a print journalist for more than two decades, working for several established dailies including The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times, The Times of India and The Pioneer. She has reported on topics ranging from crime, higher education, civil aviation, human rights and gender justice. She won the Panos Media fellowship in 2003 for her research on how Information Technology has empowered rural women. Malvika has also taught print journalism for two years in the Department of Journalism, Kamla Nehru College, Delhi University. A postgraduate in History from the Delhi University, Ms. Malvika continues to contribute to newspapers and art journals.

Dr. Pradeep Chaswal

Dr. Pradeep Chaswal's [M. A. (English), M. Phil. (English), UGC NET (English), Ph.D. (English)] areas of interest include English Language, Communication Skills in English, Language Lab, Personality Development, Soft Skills, Contemporary Poetry and Modern American Drama. He has 35 research publications and 10 books to his credit. He has organised many faculty development programmes and workshops related to soft skills and communication skills. He is a certified soft skills/ communication skills trainer by NITTTR, Chandigarh. He is the Chief Editor of 'The Muse-an International journal of Poetry' (Readership in 124 countries). He is also Editor of 'Literature Today-an International Journal of Contemporary Literature' and 'The Indus Streams'.

Dr. Joel M. Rodney

Dr. Joel M. Rodney earned a BA in History, cum laude, from Brandeis University in 1959 and a Ph.D in the History of England from Cornell University in 1965. Dr. Rodney taught at Washington State University from 1963 to 1969 and has held various positions in different universities and colleges of USA. He was Associate Professor of History and Campus Executive Officer and Dean of the University of WisconsinWashington County, from 1990 to 2003. He also served as the Chancellor of the Penn State York and as the Chair of the Penn State Commonwealth Campuses India Initiative articles since 2007. In 1971, he was awarded a 'Summer Fulbright' grant to India and has been involved in Indian/US joint ventures with Elmira and Rockford Colleges as well as with the University of Wisconsin and the Pennyslvania State University.
