Haryana, August 6, 2015: Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University inaugurated the Induction Programme for B.Com and other Management streams at DAV Centenary College, Faridabad. Dr. Gupta addressed a gathering of more than 300 students and 50 faculty members as he shared his experiences with them. The students and faculty were very enthusiastic to meet and welcome Dr. Gupta, a leading academician of the country.

Dr. Gupta congratulated the students on being admitted into a very prestigious college and further shared that success, which has no short cuts, comprises the right combination of Interest (Ruchi), Vishwas (Self-Belief) and Yogita (Capability). He also shared the need for students to keep abreast of all latest developments. This was followed by a Q&A session wherein Dr. Gupta answered the queries and doubts of students.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks wherein Dr. Pankaj Gupta was requested to conduct a Faculty Development Programme for the staff of DAV Centenary College, to which he cheerfully agreed.


New Delhi, July 5, 2012: In an exemplary achievement, two students, namely Sakshi Narang and Sapna Chaudhary from Apeejay Stya University, Gurgaon represented India and showcased their creative design collections at a fashion show titled "Indian Fashion through the Ages". The fashion show was held at Atlanta, USA and was a part of the third USA-India Business Summit (UIBS) which organised the fashion show in partnership with Apeejay Stya University and Georgia College and State University, USA.


Gurgaon, August 27, 2014: Apeejay Stya University student, Anurag Varshney (4th year, B.Tech-CSE), has been appointed as the Microsoft Student Associate for 2014-15. Anurag's key responsibilities, as the Microsoft Student Associate, include driving student outreach, learning initiatives like workshops, boot camps, etc.; being a catalyst in driving initiatives around social impact involving students from local campuses and contributing in empowering the industry & academia ecosystem by constantly playing a role of an evangelist in the community.


Australian-TV-Show-1Gurgaon, November 18, 2013: The students and faculty members from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC), Apeejay Stya University (ASU) recently participated in an international television programme, Q&A. The state broadcaster Australian Broadcasting Corporation of Australia (ABC) went live with its flagship programme Q&A from the Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon, India.

July 18, 2013: It is indeed a happy and a proud moment for Apeejay Stya University to share that ASU student, Rohan Thapar, has been selected as the Google Student Ambassador to represent ASU for the upcoming academic year. Rohan is presently pursuing Mechanical Engineering (5th Semester) at ASU and is undergoing internship in Forbes & Mashall, Pune.

Over 1,750 strong candidates from more than 100 towns and cities across India were vying for the coveted GSA title. Out of 1750 students, only 300 students have been selected and called for a conference in Goa in the first week of August, 2013.
