Gurgaon, Aug. 25, 2015: The inauguration ceremony of the 'Apeejay Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) Meet’ was held in City Office, Gurgaon. wherein all Apeejay higher education institutions participated with the objective of synchronising corporate activities at all levels and optimising time, energy and resources.
New Delhi, August 20, 2015: Mr. Aditya Berlia, Member Management Board, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, moderated an interactive panel discussion at the CII Education Conference on ‘Making New Delhi the Knowledge Hub of India’. Mr. Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of NCT of Delhi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Ms. Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary, Education & TTE, Government of NCT of Delhi was the Guest of Honour. Other known dignitaries from industry and academia were also present at the Conference.

Haryana, August 6, 2015: Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University inaugurated the Induction Programme for B.Com and other Management streams at DAV Centenary College, Faridabad. Dr. Gupta addressed a gathering of more than 300 students and 50 faculty members as he shared his experiences with them. The students and faculty were very enthusiastic to meet and welcome Dr. Gupta, a leading academician of the country.
Dr. Gupta congratulated the students on being admitted into a very prestigious college and further shared that success, which has no short cuts, comprises the right combination of Interest (Ruchi), Vishwas (Self-Belief) and Yogita (Capability). He also shared the need for students to keep abreast of all latest developments. This was followed by a Q&A session wherein Dr. Gupta answered the queries and doubts of students.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks wherein Dr. Pankaj Gupta was requested to conduct a Faculty Development Programme for the staff of DAV Centenary College, to which he cheerfully agreed.

It was followed by interactive sessions of the Academic Dean, Prof. Joel Rodney, who elaborated on the Liberal Arts Philosophy with examples and Dr. J. Veeraraghavan who shed light on the challenges of higher education & the role of teachers. Many other sessions also took place and presentations were made as well.

The third day saw Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Co-Founder & Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, sharing her views on creating synergy between the vision, mission, objectives and properties of the Apeejay Group. She extended her firm support to the ASU family as she was received cheerfully by the enthusiastic audience. This was followed by a stimulating session on ‘Innovations in Teaching; Teaching Game Theory by using Bollywood Songs’ byProf. KrishLadha (PhD Carnegie Mellon, USA), Professor, IIM Kozhikode. An intense discussion on teaching pedagogy was also undertaken by Mr. Aditya Berlia, Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University. Useful insights about the job market were shared by him, leading to various teaching-learning outcomes that the faculty should work upon. He addressed the concerns of all the faculty members. The day concluded with a review of evaluation and examination system at ASU.
Keeping in mind the physical and spiritual benefits of Yoga,Cdr. C.P. Sharma opened the fourth and final day of the FDP with a sessionon Yoga. This was followed by an interactive and equally engaging session of Mr.NiloySen who shed light on the subtle aspects of Design and its impact on the target audience. The talk was interspersed with his creations for the media.The subsequent session was conducted by Mr. Deepak Bhalla and Mr.ManpreetSehgal whoexplained the working of Moodle through a workshop and presentation.Mr. Gupta also introduced the guests of honour, Dr. S.K. Salwan, CEO, Apeejay Education Society and Prof. P. Rameshan, Founding Director, IIM Rohtak. Dr.Salwan delivered an inspiring talk on the contribution of teachers and students in the teaching-learning process. He also demonstrated effective ways to manage the sudden boom of knowledge in this era of globalisation. He was succeeded by Prof. Rameshan who shed light on the nobility of the teaching profession. He also advised teachers to understand the psychology of the students and adopt a rational behaviour towards them. The day concluded with a vote of thanks from Hon'ble VC of ASU, Dr. Pankaj Gupta.
