China, June 17, 2014: Apeejay Education Society (AES) & Apeejay Stya University (ASU) organised the Svran Apeejay Fashion & Cultural Show at the Raidy Boer Men's Fashion Event from 13th to 17th June 2014 at Chengdu Textile College, China.

The series of events also included Indian Classical Dance and a colourful glimpse of the Land of Five Rivers, Punjab by Apeejay. Both the performances spoke volumes for Apeejay's endeavour in promoting the cultural heritage of India through its multifarious art forms.

Male, June 15, 2014: A week-long workshop on Research Methodology, jointly organised by Apeejay Stya University (ASU) & Maldives National University (MNU), was held with the faculty of the MNU, Male. Various aspects of research designs and data analysis were discussed, among other things during this interactive workshop. 25 faculties from the schools of Management, Health, Statistics, Economics, Environment, IT, etc. participated in the same. Dr. Alok Saklani, Hon. Advisor, School of Management Sciences, ASU also attended the same.

New Delhi, June 12, 2014: Keeping in mind the dearth of qualified financial professionals in the country, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) signed an MoU with the National Stock Exchange India Ltd. (NSE). With this collaboration, ASU is running the five-year Integrated MBA in Financial Market programme, which offers an exit option after three years to procure a general BBA (Financial Market) degree.

The programme has been specially designed to blend academic and employable skills of individuals. Students pursuing this programme would receive a degree from ASU along with 10 and 22 industry-validated NSE certificates after completing their BBA and MBA programmes, respectively.

ASU shall soon launch more programmes in collaboration with NSE. Apeejay Education Society also plans to launch some certificate and financial literacy programmes for its various schools.


Netherlands, June 2014: Apeejay Education Society & Apeejay Stya University organised an International Design Conference in association with the Willem De Kooning Academy (WDKA) and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. Apeejay students engaged with the students and faculty of the William De Kooning Academy, pursuing different projects in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Product Design, etc. Students received an insight about the masterpieces of Dutch Art including the greatest works of Rembrandt, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso & Van Gogh. Students also visited the Art Museum of Rotterdam Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and WDKA photography exhibition, among many other activities.


Kathmandu, June 1, 2014: Dr. Alok Saklani, Advisor to the School of Management Sciences of the Apeejay Stya University, had a meeting with the Dean of the School of Management of the Tribhuvan University at Kathmandu, largest University of Nepal, to discuss academic issues of mutual interest and explore possibilities of collaboration in the coming future.
