USA & Belgium, July 2014: Saakshi Bhayana, Biotech graduate programme student at School of Biosciences, Apeejay Stya University, recently pursued her internship at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Maryland, USA. NIH is the primary agency of the United States government responsible for bio-medical and health-related research.

Students, Devashish Singh and Vinit Sansanwal also pursued their internship at the Comparative Endocrinology Unit of the Dept. of Animal Physiology & Neurobiology, Katholeik University (KU), Leuven, Belgium as they got exposure to various frontline tools and techniques. The department is reputed for its contribution to the role of thyroid hormones in embryonic brain development, neuroplasticity of the song control system birds and the effects of thyroid hormone & deiodinase deficiency. Founded in 1425, KU is among the oldest, largest and most renowned European universities.

London, June 24, 2014: Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Co-Promoter & President, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group has been recognised and awarded for her contribution to Indian education through Apeejay Education Society & Apeejay Stya University. A first of its kind initiative in London, Skill Tree Knowledge Consortium, India’s first syndicate of private universities and colleges, profiled few of India’s top educational institutions.
