Apeejay Stya University observed 'World Doctorates Day' on August 25, 2014 at IIC, New Delhi.
Delhi & Gurgaon, August 20, 2014: Apeejay Stya University organised the Orientation and Induction Programme 2014 from August 19, 2014 to August 25, 2014 in the University Campus. The Opening Day of the Programme was held at Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai, New Delhi.
Gurgaon, August 18, 2014: Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in Apeejay Stya University hostel. It was a truly enriching experience for the international students.
New Delhi & Gurgaon, August 16, 2014: Few students from ASU's new batch of international students from Mongolia, Oman, Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Bangladesh, Uganda, Rwanda and Zambia, among other countries went for a day trip to Delhi. They visited the iconic historical monument, Humayun Tomb and observed the colonial architecture at India Gate, CP, among other places. They also visited the corporate hub, Gurgaon.
Gurgaon, August 1, 2014: Apeejay Stya University (ASU) organised its annual Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for the ASU faculty members from 1st to 5th August 2014 at ASU campus. FDP 2014 comprised interactive sessions, workshops and PowerPoint presentations on achieving targets in academics. There was special emphasis on innovative pedagogy methods and creating world class researching methods.
The FDP 2014 was addressed by Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Co-Founder & Chancellor, ASU and Mr. Aditya Vijay Berlia, Co-Founder & Pro Chancellor, ASU along with top speakers from the industry and academia.
The FDP aims at aligning the faculty with the University's vision and mission. It further provides an opportunity to the faculty, particularly to the new members, to understand and implement the academic system, be well-informed on the various developments from the ASU calendar, as they synchronise their teaching-learning methodology & evaluation techniques accordingly.The FDP programme provided a platform to all the teachers to bond, connect and suggest how value can be added to the ASU system of academics.
