Gurgaon, December 2014: Many companies visited the Apeejay Stya University campus to recruit students from the School of Design & Visual Arts, as part of the Internship and Placement Drive held at the campus.
Gurgaon, December 2014: Among many other companies, Janalakshmi Finance, a Bangalore based company expanding in North India, visited the ASU Campus to recruit MBA students as Management Trainees for various districts.
Gurgaon, December 1, 2014: A farewell party was organised in the campus for the final year students residing in the university hostel. The event was conceptualised, planned and executed entirely by the students of the hostel. The event was conducted with the intention of connecting yet again with all the seniors, recollecting and reliving memories, making new ones along the way.
The evening started with the final year students being welcomed, followed by a medley of songs as a band. A video, compiled and edited by the students, was also shown which briefly captured students’ journey at Apeejay Stya University. Games were played and cake cutting ceremony was also held accompanied by a memorable photo session. Last but not the least, came a contemporary dance performance by Deoyoni Bhardwaj. The students also danced to the beats of the latest hits, ending the party on a high note

Gurgaon, November 26, 2014: Lutron, a MNC and a pioneer in the field of Lighting Solutions with presence in 53 countries, decided to go for their very first campus drive in India and chose Apeejay Stya University as their chosen partner. It proved to be a great opportunity for the B.Tech students of the 2015 batch. Headquartered in USA, the company manufactures about 15,000 products and has created innovative solutions in the last 50 years.
As part of the drive, Lutro was represented by its dynamic Operations Leader, Mr. Abhinav Ajmera accompanied by their HR Head, Ms. Anjali Yadav who explained the Lutron culture to the students, among other things.
Apart from placements, the other major discussion included the proposal to strengthen the industry-academic linkage for the development of an industry-oriented curriculum. Many students appeared for the written test organised by Lutron at the campus. Six months internships, followed by placements have also been offered by the company.
