Interviewer: Why did you choose to pursue a career in pharmacy?

Student: Pharmacy is the only career in the medical field that provides us with entrepreneurship; it is both stable as well as flexible career. A career in pharmacy is like any other medical professional that allows you to work for the well-being of patients while simultaneously providing an opportunity for advancement.



Interviewer: How is your path to Pharmacy University unique?

Student: The path towards Pharmacy University is unique as the primary focus was on the National entrance exam (NEET/IIT JEE) but due to distance education and family issues, I had to drop the career option. On the other hand, considering the skills and passion to work as an entrepreneur, I chose the field of pharmacy. It is the only career sphere that provides self-independence.



Interviewer: How did you choose your dream school of pharmacy?

Student: Choosing the best university for pharmacy courses in Delhi and Delhi NCR was not easy as there are many reputed pharmacy schools in Delhi NCR. But upon conducting thorough research, I found that Apeejay Stya University (ASU), School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) has one of the best study environment with the best faculty members who provide us with practical as well as logical knowledge and that too, with a holistic approach. The university promises best internship programmes and placement. It has collaborated with big names in the industry as well. ASU (SPS) is a university that has its own pharmaceutical industry. This is one of the main reasons why I opted for this university.



Interviewer: Did you have any mentor that helps you while exploring a possible career plan?

Student: We have experienced and trustworthy faculty members in our universitythat are not only supportive but also very caring. They always help in taking a wise decision.



Interviewer: What is your favourite characteristic trait of a pharmacy school?

Student: The best trait of a pharmacy school is, they impart practical, logical as well as theoretical knowledge. The university also provides wide exposure to the pharmaceutical industry for getting practical and industrial knowledge.



Interviewer: What do you find the most challenging aspect about pharmacy school?

Student: Pharmacy is the most challenging industry in terms of both skill and time. It not only requires theoretical knowledge but also a keen interest in practical performance and focus on a complete subject we are taught. Time management is one of the most crucialas we must come up with our best with balancing other chores of life.



Interviewer: What advice would you give to students interested in attending pharmacy school?

Student: I would like to advice students who wish to join pharmacy schools since they have been interested in the pharmaceutical field.It gives the opportunity to experiment with chemicals and learn volumes about medicines. Pharmacy is not only about a degree, but it is also about learning skills to be able to serve humanity.
