School of Journalism & Mass Communication students to get trained at NDTV studios

ApeejayStya University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NDTVWorldwide to explore mutual synergies in the field of media andjournalism studies on May 31, 2017. Asa part of this collaboration, NDTV’s senior journalists,producers and anchors will conduct a series of workshops for thestudents of School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC),Apeejay Stya University, on subjects ranging from Reporting,Anchoring to Live News Transmissions from NDTV’s NewsProduction Centre in New Delhi. Students will also get an opportunityto do their internship and attend studio shows at NDTV.

A Master Class with Douglas

The New Delhi Bureau Chief of the Thomson Reuters, Douglas Busvine, conducted a Master Class on the latest trends in journalism with the students of SJMC on 9th March 2017. The session with Mr. Busvine was streamed LIVE on the Reuters Facebook page for a global aaudience.

Top TV Anchors Discuss Credibility of Media with SJMC

SJMC Students ENBA Awards 2017: India's top television anchors discussed the credibility of TV News and their future with the students of Journalism and Mass Communication, ApeejayStya University, Gurgaon, on 25th February at ENBA Awards, Radisson Blu Hotel in NOIDA. SJMC students who were invited to the event as Media Partners interviewed prominent TV personalities such as Pankaj Pachauri, Sreenivasan Jain, PunitGoenka, Anurradha Prasad, ShereenBhan, Alok Joshi and Rana Yashwant for a TV documentary analyzing the credibility of Indian TV News. The sponsors of ENBA awards, exchange4media formulated the News Broadcasting Awards in 2008 with the objective of recognizing the best in Television news and to reward broadcasters and industry leaders who are responsible for shaping the future of Television Broadcasting in India and honour the people who make this industry what it is. ENBA Awards are now considered to be among the top awards for India's television industry.
