Dr. Ridhima Tiwari is trained in Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Her doctorate was obtained from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad on the short fiction of Saadat Hasan Manto.
Dr. Tewari’s interests lie at the intersection of gender, discourse analysis and philosophy. She has presented her work in India and abroad. She has also done ethnographic studies such as a project called Mall: A Gendered Space, at the Women’s Studies and Development Centre, University of Delhi (D.U.).
Passionate about Literature, she also writes poetry and has taught interdisciplinary courses to post-graduate and research scholars at D.U.
At ASU, Dr. Tewari teaches courses on public and technical communication, philosophy, as well as on world literature.
