He has coordinated various academic and administrative activities and also organised National conferences in the capacity of a convener and member of organizing committee.


Mr Vikas Jindal

Mr Vikas Jindal comes with almost 14 years of teaching experience in diversified areas of Computer Engineering/Applications. After doing his M.Tech (Computer Engineering), he is now pursuing his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. He is actively engaged in research in the field of Semantic Search. He is a Professional Member of Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and a Life Member of Computer Society of India (CSI). He has participated in various AICTE/MHRD sponsored Faculty Development Programmes. He has attended an international conference on “World Wide Web: Technology, Standards and Internationalization” organised by W3C India office.

Mr. Manpreet Singh Sehgal

Mr. Manpreet Singh Sehgal is working as Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the School of Engineering and Technology, Apeejay Stya University. He is a Ph.D scholar in the area of Hidden Web Extraction. He holds an M. Tech (Information Technology) from YMCAIE, Faridabad and B. Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) from P.T.U Jalandhar.

He has been a Faculty Research Fellow (Domain Area: Fault Tolerant Computer Architectures) at IIT, Delhi from the period of May 2011 to July 2011. He was also selected as a delegate at W3C Inauguration Conference in New Delhi. He has been instrumental in promoting the use of Electronic media in teaching learning process through the introduction of Piazza, and brought Apeejay College of Engineering on the top world universities’ map. After getting inspired from Stanford University’s way of teaching, he started the trend of teaching with instruments (to support examples) in his classes.

He authored two research papers and got them published in international journals of repute. He has around 13 years of diversified experience, both in research and academia. He attended number of workshops on various technologies including ‘Latest Advances in Algorithm Analysis & Design’ at Thapar University, Patiala, and on development of Web at NITTTR, Chandigarh. He has been an active member of IEEE.

Ms. Ekta Bhayana

Ms. Ekta Bhayana obtained a Diploma from State Board of Tech. Education, Chandigarh and went on to do her B.E. and M.Tech. from LIMAT, Faridabad. She comes with around 11 years of experience in teaching and industry. She has coordinated various academic and administrative activities and also organized workshops on ORCAD PSPICE software in the capacity of the member of organizing committee.

Mr. Manish Yadav is working as Assistant Professor in the Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of the School of Engineering and Technology, Apeejay Stya University. Mr. Yadav’s academic background spans across M. Tech (Communication Engg.), & B. Tech (EC). He has 4.5 years experience of teaching graduate and post graduate students and one year of industry experience. He has published four research papers in international journals and has participated in many national/ international conferences. He has qualified NET exams two times.

Mr. A.K. Gupta

Mr. A.K. Gupta has obtained his B.E (Mechanical) degree from VRCE, Nagpur (now, NIT) and M.Tech (Mechanical) degree from IIT, Kanpur.

Mr. Gupta has vast industrial experience of more than forty years which includes tool design; development & fabrication of subsystems for weighing machines, tractors, milk plant equipment, heavy machine tools and domestic appliances.

His industrial experience includes planning, procurement, inspection, erection and commissioning of state-of-the-art equipment for, India’s one of the largest industrial houses, world-class large scale green field project, involving boilers, TG,DG, centralized air conditioning, zero discharge water treatment plant, high temperature reactors, filter bags, huge tankages, NABL accredited lab., construction of modern research center etc. He has vast experience of managing ISO Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO18001 and TQM. His experience also includes predictive and preventive maintenance systems, third party inspections and equipment design.

He has a total teaching experience of five years. Subjects of his interest include Engineering Thermodynamics, Applied Mechanics, Quality Control, Measurement & Instrumentation, Vibrations and various manufacturing processes. He has attended various seminars /conferences/short term courses. He is life member of Institute of Engineers (India) and The Indian Institute of Welding.

Ms. Smita Gupta

Ms. Smita Gupta is working as Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering and Product Design Department of the School of Engineering and Technology, Apeejay Stya University.

Ms. Smita Gupta is M. Tech. (Hons.) in Production Engineering from MNNIT, Allahabad in the year 2010 and B. Tech in Manufacturing Technology from JSSATE, NOIDA in the year 2008. She has 6 months of industry experience and has around 6 years of teaching experience. She has published a paper at the 7th International Conference on Precision, Meso, Micro & Nano Engineering at the Production Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Pune. Her areas of interest include Finite Element Method and manufacturing processes using SolidWorks 3D software simulation tools.

Chetan Bhardwaj

He did his M.Tech (honors) from YMCA University of Science & Technology, Faridabad in Manufacturing & Automation and guided students in areas like manufacturing techniques, composites and their machining in present environment. He was a Organizing member of a the conference "Trends & Advances in Mechanical Engineering" held at YMCA University of Science & Technology, Faridabad. He had published two research papers on "Material selection for work piece and electrodes for metal matrix machining by CNC wire EDM machining". His area of research includes advanced machining, fabrication of composites and their machining. Subjects taught by him include Fluid mechanics, material science, Heat transfer, Measurement and instrumentation and Machines design, Mechatronics and CNC machines and programming. He has teaching experience of 5 years.

Dr. Sonam Raheja

Dr. Sonam Raheja has done her Post Graduation and Doctorate in Physics from the Department of Applied Physics, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, 2009. She is a recipient of the SRF (CSIR-India). She joined as a lecturer of Physics at the Apeejay College of Engineering in 2008. In 2010, she joined as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the School of Engineering & Technology, Apeejay Stya University. She is the coordinator of the Applied Sciences Department and the Bridge course programme. She is also the in-charge of the cultural activities held in the Apeejay Stya University, since 2014.

Dr. Raheja’s name has been recommended for the International Travel Grant by DST, Govt. of India for presenting a paper in Barcelona, Spain. She has also presented 10 research papers in national and international conferences and attended a refresher course at IASC, Bangalore & a short term training course at Chandigarh. She has also published 15 papers in international journals of repute and 18 papers in national/international conferences/symposia. She is currently working on a project on ‘Thin Films’ at IUAC, New Delhi. Her fields of interest include nano-materials, thin films, oxide glasses and characterisation.

Ms. Garima Sharma

Ms. Garima Sharma has a degree in M.Sc Maths from Jamia Milia Islamia and is pursuing a PhD in Mathematics from MDU, Rohtak. Ms. Sharma has been teaching Engineering Mathematics and Business Mathematics at Apeejay Stya University since July 2010. Ms. Sharma has teaching experience of BBA, BCA, B.Com (Maths) and M.Sc (Prev Maths) & M.Sc (Final Maths) in Govt. Post-Graduation College, Gurgaon. She is also working as Quantitative Trainer in The Princeton Review for GMAT, GRE, and SAT. She has participated in an international conference on 'Challenges & Difficulties in PhD' in Delhi in 2014. She has also presented a paper on 'Central-S=Armendariz Rings II' in a National Conference on Advancements in Mathematics, Ballabgarh.
