Dr A.D. Gnanagurunathan is Assistant Professor, Cross-Disciplinary Studies andHead, Liberal Arts at Apeejay Stya University.
His preoccupation is International Politics, exploring the linkages between technology and politics, issues relating to Distributive Politics and Social Justice in Tamil Nadu, and Cinema.
At ASU, he teaches Liberal Arts courses like ‘Science, Technology and International Relations’, ‘Cinema and Politics: Reality in Reels’ and ‘India’s Travails to Nationhood’, apart from ‘International Relations’.
Dr Gnanagurunathan earned his Doctorate from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He is an alumnus of Madras Christian College (MCC), Chennai.
