Sonipat, Feb. 2017: The Corporate Resource Centre at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) organised an industry visit for the students of the School of BioSciences and School of Management Sciences of ASU. The students & faculty visited the Yakult Danone India factory in Sonipat and learnt about the manufacturing & marketing of probiotic drinks in the Indian market.

The Award is in recognition of leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of the Institute. Dr. S.K Salwan, Vice-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University received the Award.

Gurgaon, Feb. 2017: The Corporate Resource Centre at Apeejay Stya University organised a session on ‘Lungs & Breast Cancer Awareness’ for students and faculty on campus. Ms. Zoya Brar, Founder & Managing Director, Core Diagnostics, conducted this knowledge talk and also shared her entrepreneurial journey. The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and School of Biosciences of ASU were also actively involved in organising this session.

The Award is in recognition of leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of the Institute. Dr. S.K Salwan, Vice-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University received the Award on behalf of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia.

Dr. Stya Paul Lecture: A Liberal Arts Programme Initiative.

Gurgaon, Feb. 3, 2017: Prof. Salil Misra from Ambedkar University, Delhi, delivered the 1st Dr Stya Paul Lecture, a Liberal Arts programme initiative, titled 'Echoes from Partition: 70 Years of Indian Democracy'. He dissected various factors that prepared the ground for partition, especially different imaginations of a nation, and elaborated the way the remnants of partition continue to shape the Indian democracy. Dr. S.K. Salwan, Vice-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, presided over the event and shared his own experiences of partition.
