Gurugram, July 28, 2018: The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has collaborated with online major, The Quint, ensuring students’ seamless exposure to the new media know-how. The Quint has now become a Knowledge Partner of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) at ASU.

Speaking on the development, Mr Nishant Berlia, Pro Chancellor, ASU, said, “This relationship is a real game changer for those studying Journalism at ASU, especially with the increasing dominance of digital news globally. Students will get a chance to spend time in The Quint’s newsroom, learn digital journalism from some of the best in the business, attend workshops and get the opportunity for internships and industry experience.”

As more and more people are getting news on the go, on their smartphones and tablets, the Media Industry has been forced to change the way it disseminates information. This partnership between The Quint and ASU will help SJMC to make their students industry-ready so that they are ensured swift and suitable placement by the time they finish their graduation.
