Gurugram, Oct. 2018: Ms Nidhi Verma, an alumna & Gold Medalist from B.Tech Computer Science (2011-15 batch), interacted with the students of the School of Design & Visual Arts on the Topic 'A Journey from Campus to Corporate'. Thereafter, she took a Workshop on 'Stress Management'.

Ms Nidhi Verma is currently working with AMAZON, Gurugram, as a Senior Analyst. She was also the President of the Rotaract Club of Apeejay Stya University.

This session was held for the students of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.Pharma - 3rd Year) and also for the School of Design & Visual Arts.

Gurugram, July 28, 2018: The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has collaborated with online major, The Quint, ensuring students’ seamless exposure to the new media know-how. The Quint has now become a Knowledge Partner of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) at ASU.

Speaking on the development, Mr Nishant Berlia, Pro Chancellor, ASU, said, “This relationship is a real game changer for those studying Journalism at ASU, especially with the increasing dominance of digital news globally. Students will get a chance to spend time in The Quint’s newsroom, learn digital journalism from some of the best in the business, attend workshops and get the opportunity for internships and industry experience.”

As more and more people are getting news on the go, on their smartphones and tablets, the Media Industry has been forced to change the way it disseminates information. This partnership between The Quint and ASU will help SJMC to make their students industry-ready so that they are ensured swift and suitable placement by the time they finish their graduation.

Delhi, April 22, 2018: Students from the School of Design & Visual Arts, ASU showcased their designs at the India Runway Week 2018. ASU students highly emphasise on designing and creating a collection which is ornate as well as wearable clothing. The fashion show presented men who are dapper and luxurious – ‘men who rule’ fashion and new age women through the eyes of new age designers. Garments were delicately handcrafted with satin & light brocades and digital print to bring out the confident feminine women.
